I love this program, It has the best graphic editor on the planet. I’ve used other programs before this and mine was always limited to small images. I’ve long anticipated this program and was very pleased when it came out. From day one I’ve had no problems, the program works well and is very user friendly and very simple to use. It is very easy to learn and use.
I had two versions of Photoshop until a few years ago when they introduced the Creative Cloud and the subscription model. After that, I’ve been bitter when I see any kind of discount on the original retail version of any program. But I also realize that everything we buy nowadays should be part of a licensing scheme. Admittedly Photoshop CC is a ripoff. When I bought my first copy of CS2 in 1998, it was $1,200 retail, or $150 if you bought it from Photoshop, Inc. in the Apple store. Software as a service is just a new way to get profitable off the shoulders of honest people.
I have had it withdraw from non-AAA multi-year subscriptions and I intend to continue. It was a great feeling to get CC when we went to the Apple store. We had just finished watching Steve Jobs—a bit of a litany of complaints and anger. After that, I was ready to quit buying software! Success is a deserved reward.

Advanced users can use Photoshop to achieve pixel-based transitions, “stitched” transitions, or an edge-based “global action. To create these transitions, you’ll need to make a special selection called a Smart Object. A Smart Object is a selection that contains pixels from more than one layer. For example, if you have a Photo layer and a Circle layer, you can’t animate the rectangle on the Photo layer, because the pixels aren’t the same color in the Photo layer and the Circle layer. To animate the shape, first make a selection that contains both the Photo layer and the Circle layer and call it a Smart Object.
Pixel brushes have also been added to Photoshop. Using these types of brushes, you can paint transitions in and out of the smart object. This becomes extremely useful for making things look like they’re stitched together, or when a person is moving.
A closing animation is a transition that results in a circular effect that disappears rather than a rectangle shape that fades. For example, it could be the painter’s brush that transforms into nothing. You can make a simple closing animation using the Pixel Brush here .
When you make a selection, you can select a path or undo, or you can add Ink Layers to an image. Selecting a path using the Ink and Lasso tools and adding Ink Layers is a great way to create a more organic style image.
